What are the steps to using Cardinal Complete?
The process is simple and consists of five steps:

How do I start the Cardinal Complete process?
When adding your loan, select “Full” from the Cardinal Complete dropdown, as well as your pricing and borrower communication preferences.
How much does Cardinal Complete cost?
Cardinal Complete is available for $895, which is built into the loan price.
How do I control borrower communication?
You can choose who will communicate with your borrower—either you (the Broker) or Cardinal Financial. This ensures seamless borrower updates throughout the process.
Credit and Program Select
How do I request credit with Cardinal Complete?
In the Borrower screen, authorize credit for each applicant, navigate to the Credit screen, click “Request Credit,” enter your credit report ID, and click “Submit” to reissue credit.
How do I pick a program?
From the left menu, navigate to the “Terms” screen. Review and update the loan amount (if needed), as well as all dropdowns to match the desired loan teams. Next, click “Get Rates.” A rate sheet will appear showing all available rates according to the terms input on the previous screen. Finally, choose the desired Program from the list by clicking the radio button, and click “Choose Selected.” If the loan is ready to be locked, proceed to the “Locking the Loan” section.
Documents and Submission
What documents do I need to add, and how do I upload them?
Any initial borrower documents can be added via the “Dropbox” tab in the Documents screen. Octane will automatically convert all file formats to PDFs for easy processing.
What happens after I submit the loan?
Once you submit your loan application, our processing team will reach out with a welcome call to review the details and guide you through the next steps. You’ll receive regular updates as your loan progresses. To check your Cardinal Complete settings at any time, simply visit the “Transactions” screen.
